Terms & Conditions

Please read thoroughly. By placing your order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms & conditions below.


Shipping

Shipping costs are not included in your total.  You will receive a separate invoice for the shipping cost of your order at a later date, after it has been printed and weighed.

Shipping will cost between $30 and $80 in the continental USA, and between $80 to $150 for international shipping. The actual cost of shipping is determined by the weight and destination of your order.

All physical orders are shipped via FedEx Standard Ground or UPS Ground, which typically take between 3-7 business days depending on your location. Faster shipping options are available for increased charge.

Once an order has been shipped, we are no longer responsible for its handling. A tracking number will be assigned to the shipment, but we will not have access to information regarding the shipment beyond the tracking information provided by FedEx or UPS.  Because we cannot control the timeline of the shipment once it has been turned over to the carrier, we encourage you to place your order as early as possible to mitigate any possible carrier delays. We are not responsible for any losses, delays, or damages incurred during shipment.


Production Times

After your order has been placed, you will receive a design questionnaire within 2 business days, which will ask for your personal details as well as details about the event, your preferred wording, and your color preferences. It is your responsibility to fill out the questionnaire completely and accurately before submitting it back to us. We cannot begin working on your design until we have your complete information. If you fail to include any of the required information on your questionnaire, we cannot proceed with your order until we have received the missing details. Because the design of your piece will not begin until we have complete information from you; all production timelines which may have been provided to you cannot be guaranteed until you provide us with all the necessary details requested.

Once your completed questionnaire has been submitted to us, you will receive your first digital proof within 3-5 business days for an invitation suite, and most on-the-day stationery items. Please allow 5-7 business days for wedding programs.

After you have approved your designs, please allow for the following production times to produce your items:

  • Digitally printed stationery will take 2-3 weeks to complete production after the proofs have been approved.
  • Foil and letterpress stationery will take 4-6 weeks to complete production after the proofs have been approved.
  • Assembly items such as envelope stuffing, ribbons, and twine will require an additional 1-2 weeks to complete.

  • As soon as production for your items has been completed, they will be packed and shipped to you.


    Design Specifications

    Our wedding collections have been carefully created to provide the best design experience. Therefore, we cannot make major changes to any stationery design beyond the personalization options stated for each product. We can customize colors and print methods, add parents’ names, personalize the text with your details, and use your wording in the designated text areas. We cannot, however, substitute fonts unless otherwise noted, or make changes to the layouts of the designs.


    Proofs

    Our pricing includes two rounds of proofing for your entire order, so we'll have the opportunity to perfect your suite before it is printed. All items will need your signature of design approval before they go to press. If needed, additional rounds of proofing are available for $125 (plus tax) per round, invoiced separately.

    When you receive a design proof, it is your responsibility to review it for any errors, including dates, times, locations, spelling, and punctuation. You will be asked to provide a digital signature of approval after you have reviewed your designs and approve of your items. After your approval has been received, no further changes can be made. If an item has been sent to print with an error that you failed to correct during the proofing process, you will be responsible for any reprinting costs.


    Pricing

    All pricing listed on this website represents the full retail price in United States dollars. We are required to collect sales tax from you even if you reside in a state wherein we have no physical presence.


    Returns & Cancellations

    Because our products are customized to your specifications, orders are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation.  If there is a printing error due to a mistake on our part, the item will be reprinted at no cost to you. If there is an error in the proof provided to you and you have approved the incorrect proof, you will be responsible for the cost of reprinting.


    Privacy

    We strongly respect your privacy. In order to fulfill your order, we may ask that you provide us with personal information. Your information will not be used for any purpose beyond communicating with you and fulfilling your order.  We will never share or sell your information with or to any third party.     All designs, images, artworks, and products presented on this website or in the products that you purchase are the sole property of Paper Year Design Co..  All artwork, images and designs used during the proofing process are the sole property and copyright of Paper Year Design Co.. These designs, images and artworks may not be used for personal use, reproduction, the creation of derivative works, or for any other purpose. We retain the right to post your invitations or wedding goods on our website and social media. All content on this website is copyrighted upon its creation, and is governed by the United States Copyright Act of 1976 (USCA). No design, image, work of art, or product sold on this website or provided to you at any stage of the design process shall be deemed a work made for hire under the USCA unless explicitly stated otherwise.  Jurisdiction and venue for any intellectual property dispute shall be deemed proper in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
